Natural stone patios offer a unique, timeless look with their irregular shapes and natural textures, making each design one-of-a-kind. They are more durable and weather-resistant, but often come at a higher upfront cost. In contrast, concrete patios are cost-effective and can be customized with stamped designs or colors but may require more maintenance over time. For those seeking long-term value and a natural aesthetic, stone patios are an investment in both beauty and durability.
This back yard patio project consisted of hardscaping a beautiful 2 tier lannon stone paver patio with an embedded fireplace to overlook Lake Michigan.
The North Coast Team transformed a simple grassed area between two mature trees with a preparation of the area including some excaviting and leveling before gravel and lannon stone pavers to construct the final 2-tier patio could be finished with beautiful landscaping.
As the team build each layer, gravel is compacted to create a solid foundation for the larger blocks to build the wall, or larger flat pavers to create the natural stone patio.
